Individual Counselling
Adulthood has a funny way of piling things on. You’re juggling work, relationships, responsibilities, maybe parenting – all while carrying your past experiences, present stress, and future worries. And somewhere in there, you’re expected to find meaning, stay regulated, eat enough vegetables, and answer text messages on time. It’s a lot.
Therapy is a chance to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re coming in with anxiety, burnout, low mood, big life changes, or just that persistent feeling that something’s a bit “off,” this is a space to unpack things safely and honestly.
Many of the adults I work with are also neurodivergent or exploring whether they might be. I’m right there with you – I was diagnosed as autistic and ADHD in adulthood, and it was a huge turning point in how I understood myself. If you’ve spent a lifetime trying to “fit in,” manage sensory overload, mask your needs, or make sense of feeling different, I get it. Really.
We often explore:
-
Late-identified autism or ADHD and what it means for your life and relationships
-
Unmasking and reconnecting with your authentic self
-
Emotional regulation, overstimulation, and burnout
-
Identity, self-worth, and “finally having words for things that never made sense”
-
Relationship dynamics, boundaries, and self-advocacy
-
Parenting while neurodivergent, and breaking old patterns
I take a collaborative, compassionate, and neuro-affirming approach, drawing from therapies like ACT, CBT, and trauma-informed care – all tailored to your pace and needs. You won’t need to translate your experience here. There’s space for the full, complex, wonderful you.
